Randomness

Just some pictures I've taken lately...

Asher kissing his reflection in the window.

Playing in the yard with his new obsession: the tennis ball.

Getting his hair cut. What? Is it wrong that I engulf him in a large plastic trash bag so as to make clean up easier? It works wonderfully b/c not only does it catch the hair, it traps his arms so he can't grab the scissors.

His other newest obsession: pointing. He points at me, food, the dog, random furniture... you get the idea. He also refuses to wear a bib and can take off any bib I put on him (even the ones that go over his head like a shirt). He is seriously a little Hudini. Whatever. I once heard this definition- Boy, n.: a noise with dirt on it. SO TRUE and my boy is only 1 year old.

So this picture has nothing to do with Asher. I LOVE COTTON CANDY! The local elementary school had a walk-a-thon and I went for one purpose... I knew they would have cotton candy. So, I bought some of course. Big, beautiful, pink, fluffy cotton candy. I decided to save it for later that evenning after I had dinner. When I went to eat it later it looked like it does in the picture above. The fluffiness had somehow condensed into a shriveled up chunk of sugar. Talk about LAME. I think it must have been the moisture in the kitchen?? I have no idea why it happened but lesson learned: When you buy cotton candy EAT IT IMMEDIATELY. I thought it was hilarious b/c I was truly shocked when I saw it all shriveled up. Don't worry I still ate it. It wasn't the same, but not bad. It just tasted like very dense cotton candy.

Kali is the same way with bibs. I had a few bibs with snaps instead of velco, they would stay on better. However, she would pull on them so hard trying to get it off that I swear she was going to break the skin on the back of her neck. So I just gave up with the bibs aswell. Oh she also in retaliation would take her bib off and stick it in her cereal bowl so it would get soaked with milk and then she knew I wouldn't put it back on. Ahh kids they make us crazy.

The more I hear these stories the more I think... Kali and Asher are two peas in a pod.

I agree and by the way just looking at your pictures again, Ahser is the cutest little boy ever. I honestly want to squeeze him because he is so cute.
