As part of our July 4 celebrating we went to the local carnival. I'm not going to lie, it was a little ghetto. But, it was worth it when we took Asher to the petting zoo. He LOVED petting the sheep and goats. He was cracking up.
We also went and saw some fireworks at Sheldon's old high school. We had a good time and Asher was totally entranced by the fireworks. It was crazy to think I have no idea where we'll be celebrating the 4th of July next year or if Sheldon will be celebrating with us or not. The reality of September 8 is starting to hit. We are definitely loving all the time we are spending together this summer.

Love the pictures of the fourth. I am lame and didn't even take any pictures. We actually did things too like go to a parade and festival, and then later a party to watch the fireworks. I missed our family lots though on the fourth. I guess I am getting a taste of what you have been dealing with and I am used to spending holidays with family. I can't wait to see you guys again. Asher is so dang cute. You can tell in the picture of him with you that he has a different skin tone than you. He is more olive.
