Random Questions:

Would you be an egg donor?

What about a surrogate?

How much money would you expect in exchange for an egg or being a surrogate?

I keep seeing ads wanting egg donors and it seems like the new thing. I can't decide how I feel about it.

I considered donating eggs when I was like 19 (cause I needed extra $$) but when I told my mom my plan she wasn't as enthusiastic. Since then, I just decided to keep my DNA to myself. & as far as a surrogate goes, I HATED being pregnant with my own baby so I don't think I could do it for someone else! If you don't mind being pregnant, I think it's an awesome thing to be able to do for someone else who can't do it for themselves!

I wouldn't do either. I don't want to think that there are "half me-s" in the world that weren't created the good ol fashion way with my husband.

Surrogate... no. If I am going to gain weight and have fat ankles, I want the end product.

I'd do it. Thay's have to pay me $1000 per egg. $100,000 plus expenses for a pregnancy.
This is Jon, by the way.

I'm okay with other people choosing to do surrogacy, but I don't know how I feel about the egg thing. There is no way in heck I would do any of it. It's amazing how persuasive money is though.

It depends. For a stranger- no way. For someone I love? Yes. I would have a hard time doing surrogacy while I am having my own kids since it ties up my womb for 9 months and my body for lets face it a year and a half. I would probably be too old to do it when I am done having babies but if I had a sister who needed either- I would do it.

I have a friend who can't have kids and I have often thought that I could be a surrogate for her or someone I really, really loved. But I don't know if I could do it for a stranger. I don't think I could ever donate my eggs either. I kinda just want to keep my stuff to myself.
